Nichola McHugh

Nichola trained at the Arden School of Theatre where she had the opportunity to shine as the vibrant Lucy Brown in the Threepenny Opera. She then went on to play the lead role of Nicky with M6 Theatre Company receiving a wonderful review from “The Stage” for her honest portrayal of the troubled youngster. She also had the good fortune to work at the Library Theatre in the newly written play “A Caribbean Abroad” . Her screen credits include work for Granada Television and Red Productions in various roles and Hoax Films. She appeared in “Beating the Dog” which came national runner up in the 48 Hour Film Challenge and also “The Chemist” which won Best Drama at the Exposures Film Festival. More recently she played Sue in "The Will" which was short-listed for the Script 2 Screen Film Festival (USA) and the lead in "The Bag Lady" which she won Best Actress at the LassFest Film Festival and a commendation award at the Buxton Film Festival.
